They were excited to be actively participating as a team in something that would help them achieve a higher level of autonomy while achieving high-quality patient outcomes.
In our work, I shared with Kristen the importance of modeling the core values established to help to unlock the potential of others. I stressed the importance of leading with compassion and actively listening to the needs of the whole team. Kristen was fully engaged and truly excited about what she was learning in her pursuit of furthering her leadership talents. The next day, Kristen took what we had discussed and reviewed it with her peers. She explained it to them, and together, they established core values. They believed this was important for the success of their team and that they all should follow. They were excited to be actively participating as a team in something that would help them achieve a higher level of autonomy while achieving high-quality patient outcomes. Kristen was so excited about the work they had performed, she sent me a picture of the board they made for all to see and follow. It is truly a pleasure working with Kristen. Her excitement for the future for herself and her team is palpable in the work we have done together.
