My mother went through a ten-hour surgery and had to stay in ICU 2 for a couple of days, which is where my story starts. There I met the nurse Krongkan who was the nurse who took care of my mom during the day time. At that stage, my mother was very weak and temporary confused. I have noticed that Krongkan was extremely kind and tolerant. She never got angry when Mom expressed anger and refused to cooperate with her in taking medication. Besides Krongkan's constant support to Mom, she also took the time to call me when I was not available to update me about my mother's condition. It seems that Krongkan has a passion for her job which makes her a shining star in ICU.
