The Labor and Delivery Team are guided by a family-like culture that motivates each member even on the toughest delivery. Nurses and Doctors work well together in times of high patient acuity and fast-paced shifts. It takes a lot of good and therapeutic communication skills to be able to convey to the laboring mother that the unimaginable pain they are experiencing now will soon be all worth it. Having a supportive Nurse Manager and Team Leader has made the team withstand the busiest days, short-staffed, having multiple patients and multiple tasks to complete.
Labor and Delivery Team has recognized that the hardest part of being in this department is being available for all their patients even knowing that there is one who requires more attention than the others, and this is where the teamwork comes in, wherein the team's principle is to provide uniformity of care to all patients.
Moreover, patients have always been thankful for the support and effective patient care during the labor and delivery process and their stay in the hospital. Once a patient verbalized that "The pain was unbearable, however having you all around has made it manageable, expect that I'll be coming back after a year".
