Laura is always a nurse that is caring and has a smile on her face. One particular moment was when she was caring for a man that was in the end-of-life process. His sister was at the bedside and his only family member. She didn't want to leave. Not only did Laura spend extra time with the patient, but also with his sister. Laura sat at the bedside so the patient's sister could walk and use the restroom. Laura prayed with her and gave her a cross. At the end of Laura's shift, she went and got the sister breakfast and took it back up to the room, so the sister didn't have to leave her brother. Laura is very worthy of this designation!
