We are writing to express our gratitude to Carroll Hospital Center Staff for the excellent care they provided to our father when he was hospitalized recently. The entire medical, nursing and support staff were kind, caring, and provided the best care that we could have hoped for at every step of the process from initial admission to the hospital to the moment that our father passed away.

We feel compelled to write to especially acknowledge Leisa McDaniels for her unique contribution during our father's stay and to recognize her for her outstanding performance.

When the end was clearly in sight, a special Angel came to us embodied in Leisa. She was closest to our dad during his final moments and understood his wishes. She anticipated the challenges our family would be facing and counseled us while making the painful decisions. She made herself available to help us throughout and went above and beyond the call of duty to honor that commitment. This, coupled with her technical competence, helped us to make his passing less painful and more dignified. There is no amount of training that prepares for what Leisa did; her actions came from her heart. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude to Leisa, she will always be our special Angel.

Our family will always be grateful for the excellent care that Carroll Hospital Center Staff provided. It is no wonder that the hospital is rated in the region for patient outcomes.
