Leslie has shown extraordinary care for patients regardless of the situation.
Leslie was nominated by the son of a patient whose father was rushed to the Emergency Room. His father was going back and forth to different hospitals due to some chronic problems. The first thing that he noticed is that the service that his father received from the Emergency Room with Leslie as the nurse was more than the care that his father received when he was admitted to an ICU of a different hospital. Leslie gave timely care for his father, timely updates, and she was also very polite and nice in dealing especially with the patient considering that most of the patients around her need urgent care.
This nurse has shown extraordinary care for patients regardless of the situation. She is always smiling at the patients making it more comfortable to stay, talking to patients like she is talking to her own family, and caring for patients even with the simplest procedure of inserting an IV line ensuring that patient will not feel the pain. These simple gestures and touches by Leslie were as if she was caring for her own father.
