Lexie has been a tremendous source of support during this process, and I will always be thankful. During my initial treatments with Adriamycin and Cytoxan, the nausea I was experiencing was debilitating. My doctor prescribed the usual IV and pills with little relief. It was Lexie who came through. She had heard of a patch for chemotherapy patients and on her own researched this avenue. Lexie found the patch, contacted the drug manufacturer, sent the drug representative to the office of my physician. This was not easy, but she took the time and she stayed with it. My doctor ordered the patch for me and during the next treatment of this course of chemo I experienced no nausea. NONE!
Lexie not only helped me, but hopefully all future patients of my physician. Lexie is more than efficient when running the daily operations of her floor. She is prompt, getting to patients in record time. She is truly amazing. She is a great asset to this hospital and deserves this recognition.
