Lisa is compassionate and motivated. She betters the patient's experience and co-workers experience as well as bettering herself. Lisa has this powerful quality about her that is displayed in her ability to be truly empathetic in any situation at hand. It's about putting yourself in other people's shoes and that is what Lisa does.
Lisa shows passion for the people she serves as a Nurse Manager, and their well-being is at the top of her list. Lisa understands and shows this by her ability to pull a group together and drive for a common goal.
Lisa is humble, in a leader that means she gives credit to others when deserved, and calls for help when it is needed. She solves problems and creates an atmosphere of a team approach and a buy-in to the cause. It gives us all a chance to be a part of something bigger than ourselves and in turn draws us all to be better nurses, techs, and supporting co-workers for our patients.
We know what Lisa is thinking, this transparency opens the doors to communication and problem solving so we can get the job done. She is trustworthy. Building trust is one of the hardest tasks a leader has. Lisa fosters personal relationships and acts on promises which in turn, shows us, that she is a person of her word.
