...Lori was my husband's nurse. She was so friendly and kind, I felt like I had known her for years even though I just met her. She made sure to see if we needed anything, and was happy to answer my questions. She made my two children and me very comfortable by making sure we all had something to eat.

Lori asked if we would like to get my husband's handprints on a canvas. When she found out the hospital was out of the supplies, she sent someone to get the canvas and paint. She wanted my children to have this to remember their father. Lori helped them paint his hand and put it on the canvas. This meant so much to my children and was so fitting since my husband was an artist.

When it came time to take my husband off life support, she was very professional but also showed such compassion. She explained everything to us. I can't say enough. She has touched all of us in such a special way and we will never forget her.
