WOW! What a wonderful, caring, and competent nurse I was lucky to have for 2 days! Lovie demonstrates every aspect of The DAISY Award. She would take the time to do the job of checking me out physically daily, explain what meds I'm on and why asked if I had any questions and made me feel important. Her knowledge was beyond expectations and she was warm and comforting.
There was one day that I was pretty upset and Lovie came in to say good morning. She noticed I was visibly upset, pulled up a chair beside me, and asked if I needed a hand to hold. She was so sincere and immediately my mood changed. It's the little things that make the difference. Thank you for having such a sweet, qualified RN on your team. She is quite an asset.
