I first truly met Lynn as an SLH nurse entering a new department, Endoscopy. Starting an unfamiliar role seemed daunting and the required new skills were challenging. Lynn welcomed me with her subdued warmth and genuine care for me, a brand-new baby Endo nurse. Lynn’s years of experience as an ICU and cardiac procedure nurse (to name just a few of her past roles) support her knowledge and skill that shines through in all of her patient interactions. Chuckles can often be heard dancing through the Endoscopy halls as she welcomes and reassures patients of the skill and love provided by St. Luke’s nurses. She has a confident and gentle presence that diffuses difficult situations with both patients and staff. Her love and care for others spills out of the halls of St. Luke's as she cares for her family and community with grace and intention, continually dedicating her time to the health and happiness of others. I nominate Lynn to recognize and celebrate the many times she has gifted our community, hospital, families, patients, and staff with her skills and service. Thank you, Lynn, for all of it.
