Lynsey was described as a “shining star” by a patient recovering from an unexpected
emergency surgery at the Vacaville Medical Center.

From the moment Lynsey was introduced as her assigned nurse, the patient says
Lynsey made it her first priority and goal to fulfill any necessary medical needs and to
jump start recovery.

Lynset familiarized herself with the doctor’s treatment plan and relayed the instructions
to the patient and her husband, helping them to relax and to be aware of what to expect.

“Lynsey was very professional and precise with details for my recovery, and at the same
time very personable,” said the patient. “She encouraged us to ask questions and also
reminded us she was there to make my stay as comfortable as possible and to assist in
my recovery.”

The patient adds Lynsey was a fine role model for all up and coming and aspiring young
nurses. “It was a real privilege to have her as my nurse,” she said.
