I can truly say with my whole heart that this nurse is an extraordinary nurse who is so deserving of this recognition. As I write this I am in tears of joy and gratitude as I recall all the years that she has served me since 2012 and still cares for me til now. She is just a cellphone call away and never fails to accommodate all my needs and my family as well. During my first day of treatment, she was the very first person to welcome me with her wide, warm, and open arms. Her joy de vivre and tender demeanor immediately won me over. It’s very unusual for a patient like me to say, that one of the most joyful journeys I ever had in my entire life was that journey. Well, believe it or not, it was! And she had a very big role to play. Throughout my treatment, she was with me. Every step of the way she was with me and my family, to cheer me on and give me encouragement and she always found ways to make my journey comfortable, fun, memorable, and enjoyable. She stands out not only for her medical acumen but also for her boundless emotional support, always a phone call away, ready to extend her care beyond conventional duty to meet our family's needs, regardless of the hour. Her approach transforms the healthcare experience into one of the most positive journeys of life, making treatments feel like celebrations and ensuring that her presence is a source of upliftment and joy. What truly sets her apart is her practice of synodality, living a life filled with selfless acts of inclusiveness and communion with Christ and His people.
