A family member arrived from Portland, Oregon to visit a patient, and had not had a chance to make hotel arrangements and also had no personal transportation. Ms. Wu, upon hearing of the dilemma, made hotel reservations for the visitor and attempted to arrange for a complimentary cab ride. When the cab ride fell through, Maria drove the visitor to the hotel herself and also brought her back to Madigan for another visit! Her care is truly patent centered, and we on 7N are lucky to have her as a teammate.
