Marissa is a selfless nurse. She is always smiling and treating the patients with such dignity and care. She makes sure that her co-worker's patients are also taken care of in a timely fashion. She is always willing to go above and beyond for any patient at any time. She continues to be a shining star with a bubbly personality at any given time, even under the daily stresses of her day.

I have been coming for my infusion since 2009. I had the pleasure of Marissa Oyer being my nurse several times. She is very good at her job. She is very accurate and does her job very well. She assists me when I need help. She is there on the spot when my machine beeps. She helps me to the bathroom. She is very sweet and kind and a wonderful personality, not only with me but with all the other patients around me. She does her job very well.

What does my nurse do for me? She goes above and beyond her duty. She makes me feel like I'm her friend, not just her patient and when you're living with stage IV Rectal Cancer that has spread, you need to feel like you're not alone and Marissa does that for me! I can talk to her about anything and she'll listen. If she doesn't have the answer right away, she makes sure I have the answer before I leave the chair. She's so good to my wife too - makes sure she's ok. We had some bad news a couple of different times with my cancer growing more in other lymph nodes. When the doctor came in to tell us, Marissa was there to make sure we weren't alone, held my wife who was a mess and made sure she got herself together. We're blessed to have Marissa there for us. We need more of her in this field and in our everyday life! Imagine how one nurse can make a difference in one's life, well that's what my nurse does for me.
