Good nursing blends the mastery of technical skills with human compassion. This nurse does both of these extremely well. Their technical skills are beyond reproach. They are an excellent nurse. Their compassion for their patients is wonderful. No matter what I asked them to help me with, they did it without complaint and a smile on their face. They initiated communication so we knew what was expected of us both. They made me feel like they were interested in how I felt and wasn't too busy to meet my needs-even though quite often she was very busy. They are in the perfect profession - one of caring and helping.

This nurse has impeccable personable and empathetic skills. They made me feel right at home. Since we are in unprecedented time and not allowed visitors or a support person it makes it hard to feel comfortable. After having to leave my 2.5-year-old and 8-week old daughter at home I was a wreck. This nurse was the breath of fresh air and shoulder I needed. They are an amazing asset to the Northside Team. I can't even imagine the craziness the hospital employees have been through and still go through, but the fact that you can see this nurse smiling and kind to their patients is a testament to this nurse's awesome charter. 2020 will be remembered as a black cloud year, but I will always remember this nurse as the sunshine 2020 needed.
