Mary was always smiling
My father had another heart attack and had life support for days. I came from Lexington, KY, and my husband is a 14-year health provider and I know how Nurse jobs are good or bad. When I got there, Mary Jordan had entered her 12-hour shift for my father. She gave him 24/7 care, checking levels, and my father had three scares where he stopped breathing and she was like Superwoman. I went out for a few hours and came back, Mary was still checking levels and signs and asking if I was okay as well. My sister flew from California and she was so happy Dad's Nurse helped clean him up and shaved my father while still hooked up to oxygen. On day two, Mary was back, checking levels and signs, switch dad's food so he could have something to eat, even sprayed his throat for comfort after pulling the tube out from his throat.
What a blessing she was. Mary was always smiling. Good Nurses are hard to come by. I know God sent Mary Jordan to us.
