Maya is amazing! When everyone else told us the doctor would be there eventually, she picked up the phone and paged him. He was there within two hours. Maya is kind, caring, sweet, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to help and make me feel comfortable. She deserves to be recognized!

Maya has been a kick-ass nurse for the past two days taking care of a difficult and complicated patient and family member. She has spent extra time communicating with patient, husband, therapy, respiratory, and ensuring this patient is getting excellent care. She has a positive attitude and I have seen this patient begin to trust our hospital and staff due to Maya's efforts. She is an amazing nurse and I am so impressed!
