My mother was treated as if she was the only patient that Michael Rominski had in the entire hospital. My mother was scheduled for an endoscopy procedure the next morning at 11:30 am, however, she had only eaten a small bowl of cereal that morning, so by the time she was admitted at approximately 6 pm, it would have been almost 24 hours without any food. Her diagnosis of gastritis contributed to her limitations of food choices. Michael took some chicken and rice soup and strained out the rice so that my mother could have clear liquids with a little ginger ale to drink. Only an angel does this!
Michael inspires everyone blessed to be in his company. Fellow employees, patients, and family of patients. I will continue to speak about Michael for years to come. He is a shining star in his chosen profession. He is professional, kind, and has a warm smile and personality that demonstrates genuine care for his patient's every day!
Again, Michael went over and above any expectation of patient care. As a Duke LifePoint hospital, Wilson is privileged to have this exceptional nurse serving our hospital and our community!
