I had a medical episode that resulted in my being admitted to GSAM for a period of 4 days. Though this was medically the safest place to be, I just wanted to go home. One nurse, however, took the extra steps to help me relax and understand the medical tests and treatment I was currently going through. In addition to showing a high degree of professionalism, compassion, and care, MJ went to another level. She took the time to sit with me and discuss my multiple diagnoses and the treatment I would receive for each. This gave me a better understanding of what was to come during my hospital stay and greatly eased the anxiety that I had. Kudos to Michelle, GSAM is lucky to have her.
