Michelle Rockwell's kindness and compassion are apparent in everything she does. While I was in her care at ECM she would constantly go above and beyond from simply checking in to see how I was doing, bringing medicines, and making sure I was informed. She has a fantastic bedside manner and uses humor that makes you forget you're even in the hospital. That attentiveness and personality made me feel like I was in the care of my mother, who passed away years ago.
One memorable instance was when Michelle was removing a drain from my abdomen I had received during surgery. The surgeon and even the nursing manager said that it could be painful to remove and feel odd. When Michelle removed my drain, she talked to me and was telling me a story, and before I even knew it, the drain was out. I didn't feel a thing. Michelle is a huge asset to the ECM team and one extraordinary human being.
