Monica is an amazing nurse. I am an OR nurse from New Jersey and came to volunteer after hurricane Harvey. She took me under her wing and showed me the ropes of PACU. She took her time to listen to me and she gave extraordinary advice. She genuinely cares about her patients and shows incredible camaraderie. I could not have been more blessed and lucky to spend my last 12 hour shift with her. She worked extremely hard last week and even took time out of her life to volunteer to clean a co-worker's home. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have met her. I know after this experience that I have gained a lifelong friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
