I only had Morgan as my nurse one shift. But I was very down when she came around. Worried about my daughter who is also a nurse and how my multiple health scares have worn her down. Now I supposedly was losing blood somewhere just having been transfused. Morgan told me I should have called because I was afraid. I have a hard time calling when I have to use the bathroom.
Even though I wouldn't have called to say, "I'm afraid..." that impressed me. I had very nice nurses, but Morgan didn't just come with Band-Aids, she was truly caring for her patients. By the end of her shift, I noticed how tired her eyes looked and how she was probably ready for bed, but she asked if I needed a hug.
Morgan is special. Thank you, Morgan. It's very hard to choose from the hardworking nurse staff on all the shifts I remained in the hospital. The kind and gentle nurses that dealt with the difficulty of getting IV's in my arm, were much appreciated. They learned about my rare myoamy disease. I learned that being a "hard stick" brings patient staff to your side. Thank you for a lot of hardworking staff.
