During our stay, Natalia was extraordinary, knowledgeable, personable, and kind. With her help, D was able to deliver our first beautiful baby. While laboring, D was unable to sleep, and Natalia offered comfort by carrying on conversations bedside throughout the late hours of the night. These simple conversations allowed D to relax through what could have been an anxiety-filled experience. Also, because of Natalia’s presence, dad-to-be was able to get a couple of hours of sleep. Unfortunately, Natalia’s shift ended before the baby was delivered. When she came for her next shift, Natalia made sure to visit us and the baby in post-partum care. She even said, “I had time to visit you guys or get a cup of coffee”. We were glad she chose us and her willingness to choose her patients over coffee is reason alone for her to receive this award.

As a first-time mom, I walked into the Birth Place anxious and self-conscious about a scheduled induction. After 20 minutes in the room with Natalia, my fears automatically diminished by her personality, humor, and explanations of procedures. She held my hand during contractions and helped me every step of the way. She also popped down to recovery following the birth of our baby boy. Her investment in our experience was like no other. Since returning home we often reflect on how blessed we were to be under her care. Natalia was so welcoming and supportive throughout our stay. She treated us like family and made sure I was comfortable. When we opted for a c-section, she scrubbed in with our nurse to help. During surgery, she kept my husband informed of the progress. She even stepped in to take photos for us to have and cherish forever. Thank you, Natalia!
