Nichole is first and foremost an advocate for great patient care. She always puts the patient's interests first. If a patient is ever in need, she researches the issue and comes up with the best choice of outcomes. Patients and families often recognize Nichole as someone who provides them with excellent care and compassion.
Staff will often say they love working when Nichole is in charge. She is very supportive, a great resource, and provides mentorship for not only new RNs but to the whole staff. Nichole is very well respected across UWMC.
Nichole is a fountain of knowledge and is willing to share that knowledge with staff. Nichole also shares this knowledge across UWMC through her work on many committees and projects including handoff, patient flow, PPC, and chemotherapy training.
Nichole works hard ensuring 6SE runs smoothly by maintaining supplies, keeping staff up-to-date on new processes, and communicating changes when needed.
We are very lucky to have such an accomplished and skilled RN as part of our 6SE family.
