Nicole is dedicated, trustworthy, competent, compassionate, and committed to leading her team in creating a positive working environment while providing quality and safe care to our patients.
Ever since joining TMH Cardiology Team as the ACM, Nicole has jumped right in. Being in her first position in a nursing leadership role, she was admittingly a bit nervous about taking the leap into management. Well, there was nothing for her to be nervous about as has proven to be an excellent communicator, staff and patient advocate, and team player. With her extensive nursing background in cardiac critical care nursing, Nicole was able to quickly learn workflows in the Cath and EP Labs, PCU, and Stress Lab. Right from the start, she was able to form relationships with all staff and providers. Nicole is always willing to help nursing in any way, shape, or form – you will often find her assisting in a procedure, recovering a patient, covering staff for lunches or meetings, and staying late to ensure there is a clear plan for the departments she manages.
Without hesitation, I nominate Nicole for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. She exemplifies all the characteristics of a nurse leader that we expect. She is dedicated, trustworthy, competent, compassionate, and committed to leading her team in creating a positive working environment while providing quality and safe care to our patients. She is a pleasure to work with and a great addition to our Nursing Leadership Team.
