My 87-year-old mom was hospitalized for 6 days. When it was evident mom was not getting better and she was going to be discharged to be cared for at home during her last days, my mom met and was under the care of Nurse Sunga. She took the time to not only stay in communication with me during the entire day but she also consoled me and stayed way past her departure time to ensure my mom was discharged and sent home at 9 pm. She was thoughtful, caring, and genuine. I am grateful for her understanding and empathy. She treated my mom with care and respect. My mom died days later, at home, and at peace but I am glad that Nicole helped and supported my mom during her stay at Valley. She treated my mom the same way she hoped others would treat hers. I am eternally grateful.
