I feel Noemi Rodriguez deserves the DAISY Award for many reasons. To list a few, I feel she went above the call of duty in the fact that she made me feel safe and welcome from the start of my recovery to the end. She took the time to explain everything that she did as far as administering medicine to changing the IV bag. She also explained to me the side effects of each and every medication she gave to me. The entire staff was great and they were to check on me every 4 hours which they did. Nurse Rodriguez made the time to check on me several times each hour and that means a lot to me because this was my first extended stay in a hospital; and to be honest I was a little scared. Nurse Rodriguez's kind, gentle, caring personality, and wonderful smile took every bit of my fear away and she was and is in my opinion, a True Angel. There may be many nurses that do a wonderful job, but you would be hard pressed to find one as outstanding as Noemi Rodriguez.
