“Our family cannot speak highly enough of this nurse and her care for my mom. Right when we arrived at the room, she was there checking on everything and making sure of her comfort. She was a blessing when we found out that she was going to hospice. She moved her to a nice, private room that was empty on the floor realizing we had a large family. She would stroke her face and talk to her like it was her own mother. Any pain, she would take care of it. She would take the time to sit with me or other family members and just talk and listen. My mom was in her charge a lot the first week and even when she was in hospice around the corner, she still checked on her and us.
Our whole family agreed we have never seen such compassionate, giving, listening and most awesome care toward our loved one (like she was her own). She deserves the DAISY award. My mom passed away June 29 on the fourth floor hospice care. Pamela came right away when she heard the news and caught me and my sister on our way out and again offered her compassion and sincerity. We have been through many nurses while my mom and dad stayed here but this nurse went above and beyond.
Thank you Pam and thanks for still asking me how I am when you see me no matter how busy you are. My whole family wanted to write something, so I hope I fit in everyone’s comments. Great nurse!!! Awesome care!!! We will never forget.”
