Peppa held my mom's hand and said she would pray for her as she left her that day.
Mom had scheduled outpatient surgery at the outpatient surgical center in Racine. She had major complications during the surgery when her kidney was lacerated during a robotic hernia surgery. Mom had never had surgery before and was really scared when she started having significant pain and bleeding. Peppa was her nurse post-surgery. Peppa was so kind and compassionate in addition to providing excellent medical care. Peppa stayed past her normal shift when mom had to go for additional testing and then was finally admitted. Peppa held my mom's hand and said she would pray for her as she left her that day. Peppa also kept me informed and called me numerous times to provide updates on Mom’s condition. Mom was so impressed with Peppa’s care. Peppa made a really terrible situation a little less scary. About a week after Mom went home, she got a phone call from Peppa just to check on her. Peppa said she had been thinking of her and praying for her recovery. It meant so much to Mom. We would really like for her to know how important she was to Mom that day!
