Rachel goes above and beyond almost every day she works. We have a patient on our floor who is having difficulty getting placed. Sometimes he will get angry because he is still here and he just wants to leave. Rachel will get him subway sandwiches or shakes. She came in on her day off with her own hairdresser and got his hair cut, which they donated to locks of love. She will take him outside as well.
Another example is we had a young gentleman here for AMC for 30+ days. She got him a plaque we all signed when he was discharged.
She is a great nurse with a huge heart. Thank you for being a patient advocate and truly caring.
