Ms. Ramona Ross has been an integral part of Nursing Operations and has given so much to this team; she has brought dedication, loyalty, advocacy, and respect, just as she does in all her endeavors and work throughout Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. First and foremost, Ramona is kind. She leads with the utmost kindness and without judgment; she makes everyone feel safe and supported. She is quick to notice when someone is troubled; she wants to know why, what’s wrong, and most importantly, how can she help? She’s intuitive and empathetic; she goes out of her way to ensure her employees, peers, leaders, and our Veterans are safe and always taken care of.

Ramona exudes resilience. She has developed and expanded the Referral Coordination Team at TVHS and continues to find ways to improve the program, build her team, and improve the quality of care for our Veterans. She continuously advocates for her staff and what is best for Veteran care. She has an innate ability to create the vision, drive change, and achieve success. She is an inspiration to us all and we are fortunate to have her here at Tennessee Valley.
