On two separate occasions, a patient’s belongings became missing. These patients also had a lack of support from the community and family. Rebecca went out and bought these patients clothing and shoes when it was snowing outside so they could be discharged with proper, warm attire. Rebecca is a huge team player, she is always available when staff or patients need her and she always has a smile on her face. She is an exceptional nurse and a huge asset to our department and the Wynn Hospital. If patients need a therapeutic conversation, Rebecca will stop what she is doing to assist patients who need her. I think the entire team on psychiatry can agree she is a huge asset, and one of the most compassionate nurses there is.

Rebecca is selfless, and always has a smile on her face. She is always willing to help anyone, whether it is a coworker or patient. Rebecca selflessly buys clothing for patients who have none. She is the first coworker to offer assistance when anyone needs anything. She goes far above and beyond to make our unit a better place.
