Renee Storm has continued to develop Imaging Nursing into an integral part of our Department. What started as 8 hour coverage for nursing needs has transformed into 12 hour 7 days a week thriving unit. Renee has improved sedation protocols, navigated adult sedation, created a comprehensive Imaging RN orientation packet, driven Infection Control protocols as well as developed our Imaging PAPR Program. She is involved in many committees to insure we are a part of the solution and not the problem. She has improved our response with respect to CODE TEAMs.

I have witnessed two codes in Imaging, while here for a meeting, Renee (in street clothes), stepped into the RN role without hesitation. Outstanding patient care is her main goal and it is very transparent. She is an amazing "lead by example" Nurse and has improved the RN to RN communication with imaging. There is not a task that Renee will not take on.

The DAISY Award's criteria recognizes nurses for Social Responsibility, Service Excellence, Ethic Behavior, Safe Patient Care, Quality Care, and Continual Education. Renee not only meets but excels in every one of them. From a patient care standpoint she makes us a better and safer place every day.
