Randy was my nurse after my total knee replacement. I recognized him right away since he also took care of my boyfriend 2 weeks prior when my boyfriend had a different surgical procedure. Randy has a warm, friendly, compassionate personality, and he puts you at ease immediately. He was attentive to all my post-op needs, kept me comfortable, and explained everything as he went along. There were other patients close to me, and I could hear Randy conversing with them in the same calm, friendly, and attentive manner, answering their questions and providing reassurance and encouragement. Randy is an excellent nurse and Kaiser should be proud to have him as a representative of their hospital. No doubt, he touches the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of people each year. Surgery is a big milestone in one’s life, and I can only imagine that Randy’s patients get off to a healthy and positive start in their recovery process. My boyfriend and I will both always remember the amazing care we received from him.
