After my surgery I was taken care of by so many amazing nurses, however, Rowena was exceptional. She is one of the most attentive, compassionate, helpful, caring, and kind nurses I have encountered. She noticed my needs and took the initiative of my care. She noticed I felt uncomfortable with my nasal tube and was incredibly helpful. Not only did she help me feel more comfortable but she also took the time to teach me how to brush my teeth with the new toothbrush I received. When she noticed blood clots forming in my mouth she took the time to remove it little by little. Many of the things she did for me were tedious and can be seen as disgusting, but Rowena did not bat an eye. Rowena helped me in every way possible no matter what the task was. She is the type of nurse who makes patients feel comfortable and well taken care of even when there are many other patients to care for. Rowena's compassion, kindness, and helpfulness will not be forgotten.
