My husband and I came to the hospital in the morning due to cramping and bleeding.I was 9-weeks pregnant at the time.Our worst fear was confirmed when the results came back that I had miscarried. The news was heartbreaking. All the nurses we dealt with were wonderful but our main nurse, Sara, went above and beyond. This was my first pregnancy.Being 36 and finally pregnant it hit hard. Sara spoke to us with compassion!I can't stress how far that went. When the terrible news was relayed to us Sara put her hand on mine. I could sense her feeling my pain. When we left, she gave me a hug. She told me she wanted me to visit when I got pregnant again showing off my baby belly.She gave excellent care, checked on us, and did everything she should.In a heartbreaking situation, we were grateful she was our nurse!She showed us compassion, love, and gave us hope. We thank her for that!
