Sarah Salmonese is a Nurse who always works with her heart on her sleeve. One day Sarah was caring for an elderly lady who had a hard time walking or keeping her balance on her own. The Patient needed to go to the bathroom, and so Sarah helped her over to the toilet. On the way back to the bed, Sarah put on some music and started to dance with the Patient! The Patient had previously expressed how she loved to dance and Sarah didn’t know how to dance the waltz, so the Patient taught her. They danced together in the Patient’s room; the Patient got some exercise and had fun at the same time. This little move made the day for this Patient… and for those of us who witnessed this loving and caring act between Nurse and Patient.
