...We have an elderly patient who needs blood transfusions every two weeks. Her husband accompanies her each visit. They have been our patients for over five years. The wife told us her husband had open heart surgery. We knew this was a lot on her financially and physically. I asked the staff to give $20.00 each as a love offering for the couple.

The staff gave without hesitation and the patient cried. She stated, "People say they love you all the time, but your actions are proof of it". We call her weekly checking on her and her husband.

This was just a request from me, the PCC, to the staff and not one staff member refused. I am blessed to be a part of this great team. This gigantic DAISY Award goes to
