I've had the pleasure of having Staci as my day nurse for the birth of my son and my daughter, three years later. She sat with me and held my hand while I cried as my daughter was flown to Children's. She took great care of me after my son's traumatic birth. Both times she listened, talked and also made me laugh. She is kind, thoughtful, passionate, fun, and she cared not just for me, but for my whole family. She was the highlight of my hospital stays. Staci is a great asset to the Birth Place at LUH and I'm thankful to have been under her care twice. We will never forget her and how she put a positive spin and outlook on our two very difficult situations.

Last year I went into preterm labor at 24 weeks. Staci was the head nurse who was there to assist. She was there with me all day and even stayed past her shift to see the whole thing through. Both the doctor and Staci kept in touch throughout my daughter's whole stay at Children's Hospital and even after she was discharged. I am now going to have another baby, luckily at full term, and Staci made an effort to be the nurse on duty for this one as well. The both of them mean more to me than they will ever know.

We had an amazing experience at The Birth Place. Although we thought every nurse was excellent and made our stay very easy, we felt a greater connection with Staci. She always made us feel relieved and stress free. She was always there and prompt if I needed anything. She displays a genuine care for her patients. I kept turning down my complimentary massage because we had so many visitors and I felt I didn't have the time. On my last morning, Staci went through my morning schedule with me and really encouraged me to get the massage. I did and was very grateful. While I was enjoying the massage she took my baby's hand and foot prints with my husband. We will have those forever! I looked forward to 7AM because I know she would be there. At the most stressful time of our lives she made us feel more confident as new parents. The Birth Place has a very special gem in Staci.
