During her shift Stephanie received a call regarding a deteriorating patient condition. Upon assessment she found the patient did, in fact, need intervention. While trying to address the patient's issues she encountered obstacles and resistance. This did not deter Stephanie who maintained her commitment to do what was best for the patient. With her persistence the patient received the intervention he needed and immediately improved. Throughout this process Stephanie was with the patient assessing, reassessing and advocating for the patient despite resistance. It is due to her diligence and commitment that the patient improved and received the care he truly needed.
