Stephanie has given excellent, compassionate and skillful nursing care to this patient and her family. The patient was declared brain dead and the family opted for organ donation. Stephanie added an extra shift during Christmas time so that the family would have continuity of care. Every morning Stephanie had the patient looking so beautiful that it was very hard to notice that she was brain dead.

She made birthday cards for the father and other siblings as these were celebrated the day before the organ procurement. All of this has helped in the family's grieving.
