Susie treated me with kindness and always took the time to explain my medications or health issues so I could understand. Susie does not judge me because of my mistakes, but rather encouraged me to never give up and keep trying. When I come to the hospital for my alcoholism, I am scrutinized by many people. These people make me feel like I am a bad person because of my addiction while Susie seems to genuinely care about her patients. I feel very grateful that I get to see her as my nurse. I recently spent a week in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and was assigned to the 3rd floor. I just can't say enough about how nice and professional all the nurses and staff were and how they made my stay much more pleasant than it could have been. Susie Belknap not only did a super job as a nurse, but also took the time to discuss a number of different subjects. We discussed our lives, things we did and had to do growing up. Being from the same generation, I could certainly relate. She is a wonderful, hardworking lady.
