Sue Rogers consistently delivers compassionate, holistic care to her patients and their family members. She recently was awarded Clinician III status based on her case study involving the care she provided to a very complex patient resistant to treatment, until Sue established a connection with him.
Another patient recently sent the following letter to Good Samaritan hospital:
I've been told never to go to a hospital on a weekend between two big holidays. Unfortunately, I had to recently, and was at Good Samaritan from 28 to 31 December. Several hours in ER, and then up to the 4th floor. With cardiological and neurological attention, and several tests ending with an angiogram, I have to say the four days were not totally unpleasant. The treatment was good, and the food edible.
But this note is to emphasize the particularly skilled professional care of one nurse, Suzanne Rogers, RN. Over the years, I've been in various hospitals with a variety of nursing care, but I've never experienced as careful, concerned, thoughtful, thorough, precise and personable care as she provided me. In every way, in every category, she easily and consistently impressed me. It made me (almost) glad to be in the hospital. An outstanding professional-- Good Sam is lucky to have Sue as a nurse!
