This exemplary woman leader has a true calling as a nurse and a leader. She is very articulate and believes in taking care of any negative issue. She is very confidential and trustworthy and can make anyone feel accepted and special.
This is the most dedicated, caring, and professional nurse and manager I have ever had the honor and privilege to work with and report to. She exemplifies the title of a registered nurse with her dedication to patients, care, and safety as a manager. She comes in to work early to meet and greet the night staff. If she doesn't see them in the morning, she often stays late in the evening so that no one feels left out. This nurse is not afraid to get involved in patient care when she is on the floor. She gets up and answers the call lights, takes patients to the bathroom, gets them cleaned up, or turns off a light. She supports staff in every area of their work and personal lives. While adhering to the hospital standards and policy, she can be fair and unbiased with all her staff. She sets the mood and pace every morning when she comes in with her bright and beautiful smile and chirpy “Good morning.” She prays over our floor daily and leads the shift into an atmosphere of love and togetherness. This exemplary woman leader has a true calling as a nurse and a leader. She is very articulate and believes in taking care of any negative issue. She is very confidential and trustworthy and can make anyone feel accepted and special.

This nurse leader is very supportive of staff involvement and team building is always present at any staff function and is very involved in our UBC. We just participated in a community outreach program with the Harvest House, and she was right there with us, moving tables and chairs and decorating for an event. She was there with us when we fed the homeless and when we went bowling. The staff and this nurse leader always celebrate birthdays and other events is always involved. She makes everyone feel appreciated. I am nominating this outstanding nurse leader and want to thank you for being the extraordinary, dedicated, kind, knowledgeable, and rare old-school nurse you are. This nurse is a DAISY Nurse Leader; this is her calling, and she is walking in it. We love her.
