I came in for an induction of labor, hoping to have a successful VBAC. My nurse checked on me constantly, and explained changes being made with my medications, etc. She was quick to respond to every request and paid close attention to fetal heart tones. She remained so calm and was the best labor coach! She made me feel like every push was one step closer to meeting my sweet baby boy! I started pushing at the end of her shift, but she stayed over 2 hours past her shift to see me through my delivery. With this nurse and Dr. Benson taking care of me, I was reassured the right decisions were being made for me and my baby, regardless of time. Her patience allowed me to avoid another C-section and have a wonderful, quick recovery.
I will never forget my nurse, Tammy Rogers, who helped me that day and night!
