It comes with great ease to expound upon all of the skills that make a difference in our patient's lives that Tammy clearly exhibits. Her qualities are known to her peers, supervisors and the patients that she serves. She is often said to go above and beyond and lead by example. She routinely spends hours assisting patients to find physicians to support their health needs, teaching and reconciling medication, teaching complicated care and routine care and had particular patience with our non English speaking patients. Tammy demonstrates perseverance. When one door closes, she finds a work around to obtain resolution. She is known for her thoroughness in patient care and her excellent organizational skills allowing her to get all patient needs fulfilled. Her knowledge exceeds expectations and when she doesn't know something she reaches out to others crossing all disciplines. She is recognized in the education department for sharing her knowledge and expertise to ensure the viability of new hires. She was acknowledged by the Rehab Department for her "attention to detail and collaboration with her peers to continually ensure optimal services".
