Since my father began his journey to receive CAR-T, Tawny was an unwavering source of support for him and our family. She went above and beyond, always pulling forth extra effort to ensure he felt comfortable with the plan of care and reaching out for questions or concerns. Tawny continued to remain his advocate even on the day of his PET scan, where she identified a concern and elevated the concern to his oncologist. Even though she serves as an integral part of the CAR-T program, she remained on my father's case showing her dedication to extraordinary service and commitment to quality patient care. Furthermore, during his last appointments, she remained after always demonstrating she had an openness to our questions and a clear desire to alleviate our worries. Her respect for him and steadfast compassion left a lasting impact as we cherish and remember all she did for our father.
