Tiffany went above and beyond to be there for our dad and to give him much comfort in his final moments.
We received a phone call about our father being taken to the emergency room in Worthington, MN. At the time the hospital was in contact with our mother as we had learned about our dad’s passing. The following day, Monday, J called the hospital and talked with a nurse. He had just wanted to know more of what had happened. She had given him times and such but not much detail.
A few days had passed and Tiffany called J. She felt our family needed to know the whole events of what had happened. We had learned that he wasn’t in any pain, as she asked him numerous times about that. She even got our dad to call our mom not just once, but twice. Also, as she was putting his belongings into a bag, my dad’s wallet had opened. It had opened to a photo of our nephew. Tiffany had gone to my dad and had asked him about him. After the call, J shared the story, with me and the rest of the family.
We are forever grateful for knowing how things transpired for our dad. For someone who was only with him for an hour, it meant everything to our family. Tiffany went above and beyond to be there for our dad and to give him much comfort in his final moments. Tiffany was our dad’s angel that night. There aren’t any words to say how grateful we are for her. She went above and beyond not only for our dad but for our family. She knew that we weren’t going to make it in time and took it upon herself to be there. We feel she is a DAISY Nurse for her compassion, knowledge of her job, her professionalism, and care.
