Tiffany has made my stay here with my daughter a comfortable one. She has cared for my daughter and has gone above and beyond to make sure all of her needs are met. She has also taken time to patiently educate me and my husband so that we would be able to go home with confidence. Tiffany has learned all of my daughter's little quirks and unique characteristics.
For example, my daughter is now on 24hrs of Trach Collar and began to sat at 96%, to any other nurse that would be normal but to Tiffany, it was an alert. She immediately checked my daughter and noticed she was tight and gave her a PRN treatment before the situation had a chance to become emergent. She even came in on her day off to escort me to my daughter's first doctor's appointment because she knew I felt the most comfortable with her since she knows my daughter and her medical history so well. She was able to answer questions that I was not able to and that really relaxed me.
Tiffany is also one of the most patient and thorough teachers I have ever met. As an educator (pre-school) myself I understand that some things are hard to learn or just take more time and experience to finally succeed. Trach ties were my greatest challenge, but she worked with me constantly taking me through it, talking it over when I would freeze encouraging me to continue and when I finally did it I could not wait to tell her. It was one of my proudest moments. She has the ability to push without pushing. I have been signed off on almost all of my daughter's cares because of Tiffany. She did not give up on me. She guided me and allowed me to find a way that was safe for my daughter and comfortable for me. I could never thank her enough. I am also confident in her caring for my daughter when I was not around. Tiffany is one of the best.
